Doctor Who Christmas Special Review!!!!!

So I just finished watching the doctor who Christmas special Joy To The World.

(This review may contain spoilers? Idk I'll try my best)

I think it's one of Moffat's better specials (he's done way worse,) the story was pretty solid and the doctor is better characterized like he was in Boom (also written by Moffat.) He feels more like the Doctor rather than just Ncuti playing himself. The ending was heartwarming and I can't wait to see the new companion.

The time gap in the middle of the episode kinda bothered me but that's all I have to say for the negative side for now. Also ending beared resemblance to an idea I have for a fanfic which was weird. I also noticed that Moffat is weaving a bigger story about the Villengard Corporation across the entire series and I think that's cool.

So if I had to rate this episode it would be a 7/10.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas!! I havent seen it yet.. but i am glad it was a good episode.... any episode with proper Doctor characterisation is a good episode, which you pointed out abt this ep! I'm so hyped to see what Ncuti does as the Doctor :3
