My Sight

When I was a kid I thought it was normal for the world to have this almost sorta tv-static effect on everything. I didn't know my vision of the world was abnormal, until...I'm not sure when really. The memory of when I found out "this isn't what reality is supposed to look like" is lost to me. Maybe I just realized gradually.

At night I enjoy looking into the darkness. Usually there is so much black within the snow it's hard to see any bright colors. But at night in the darkness they stand out. They're not bright but they're colorful, just tiny.

Around highschool it changed a bit. there are now also these, if you can picture it, waves of dark that appear. The best way I can put it is it's the same effect as when a rock is dropped into a lake. The ripples are pretty similar to these waves of darkness that appear in my vision. Despite calling them "dark" they're very transparent, like the opacity slider was set to really low on them.

Thanks to this I don't really get the thrill of "Super Ultra HD 240000p picture resolution" that other people can. Things just look low quality because of the snow and the waves to me no matter what.

the waves sound very pretty, it must make life considerably more difficult though. but if it's any consolation i think that your way of seeing the world is unique and should be cherished.
