🕊 the silenced prayers unheard - a poem

the rainy winters day, stripped of sunlight faded in her mind. not a single thought in sight, like a nose bleed, running until you can't stop. running water but the stream is so fast, your paralyzed in movement with the meloncoly sound of a faint cry for help, but no one can hear you drowning upon yourself. you devote yourself to your longing and desire for love that will never be found in each and every set of eyes you meet. in each and every lips that speak, they whisper a word never more than a sentence. no difference from independence yet nothing more than a delusion, an illusion among your confusion that seperates the line between reality and travesty. the light of angels sorrowing in the distance, too blinding to see. crystal clear glass, foggy and condensed. blessed by holy water, sent from the angels above into rain representative of the pain. the tears that run down her face into the pool of lies, as she cries she questions the thought of punishment if undone. a cross tied around her neck, a loss of purity and lack of peace within her own state of mind. she looked behind herself, to see a past that would never last of pointless memories that only seemed to pass. slipping by each moment through her craving of stability, a constant reminder of her ever longing affliction. her battles between addiction and pill bottles scattered across the floor, a slient key to her unlocked door.
