Toy Day is an event in the Animal Crossing series that takes place on December 24th. It is based on Christmas and the holiday season and features Jingle, a reindeer who delivers presents. In games prior to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Toy Day is the sole source of items from the Jingle Series.

also an add on fact: toy day was NOT celebrated in AC: Wild World. Toy Day was not celebrated in Animal Crossing: Wild World because the developers chose to remove most holiday-based events, opting instead to introduce unique events like La-Di-Day and the Acorn Festival, which were specific to Wild World; essentially, the game aimed to have its own distinct set of seasonal celebrations rather than directly replicating holidays from the first Animal Crossing title.
