I truly will never understand how people can assume everything based on how you dress. And lowkey this is such a first-world problem but like omgggmgmggmggg. I dress what people would call "basic" (hoodies over shorts, leggings, claw clip ponytails, ect ect) so its lowkey really hard to find "cool" people to hang out with cuz of it.
And i know if you want friends you have to talk to people but also whenever I talk to "alt" people they assume im making fun of them like no babe i genuinely adore your pins bro. Not all "basic" people are bullies or bad people.
Like whenever I talk to my friends and we're joking about stuff i get hit with the "you cant be talking your a basic bitch" like ohhh okay so what.
some people could use the argument "well... why not dress more alt...?" i dont want to dress alt because i love my style as it is and im not going to change it because thasts not who i am.
Lets stop stereotypes guys!! Lets stop judging people

Hate to say it but that's kind of how it works, they're used to non alt people making fun of them so they just assume. Kind of like how whenever you see a man you assume they're an ass, they might be sweet sure, but most men are ass so you assume he's an ass. Doesn't make it right but that's just people's natural response if they've had bad experiences in the past. :P
