Hobbit houses and lilypads

I said I was going to do some blog posts for older times, so that's what I'm here to do, now that I have a little bit of energy in me.

All throughout the summer I got rather addicted to PokemonGo. I was surprised to find that loads of people in my area still play it, so I really enjoyed having my villain arc and knocking out peoples Pokémon from gyms shortly after they put them in (˵ •̀ᴗ•́˵)و I really liked playing it and still have it on my phone now but I haven't been playing it that much recently - it's seemed to slow down a lot since winter has started. I remember seeing everyone play it when I was sixteen but I never had any credit on my phone so I had to just stand there, watch them and be sad. I finally got there though lol

My usual walks would take me up my local fields or down a beaten track to a nice pond. Here's something interesting from the field way. A hobbit house! Actually there's several - all built by one man who didn't get permission to build them here but built them anyways and now he has a plaque ahaha. I aspire to be like this man

I also always go and visit the donkeys. I actually seen one of these donkeys on the day they were born! Apparently he's a right little bugger now ahaha

If I went the opposite way, the way towards the pond it usually meant I went with my brother. Seeing the lily pads there always makes me so happy. They only started appearing in the past six years or so I believe

HEDGEPIG ALERT!!!!

I know they shouldn't be up during the day and it can usually be a sign of illness or dehydration but I want to assure all my fellow hedgepig lovers out there that he was fine. Lil guy just went for a sip of water.

There's a pub we would stop at occasionally when we went this way. It had bonus points because it was also a Pokémon gym. So we'd usually sit and wait for a raid then walk back home. Also it turns out they had a Pokémon card vending machine there so I bought my very first pack. I don't think I'll get any more but it was a fun experience ( ≧ᗜ≦)
