why are the pretty girls always have to be the meanest

like there's this girl i used to go to school with and we really bonded until she started dating my ex, and i wasn't offended at all like--i never hated her for it. but she always purposely tried to get my attention and dragged my ex along with her so i'd notice them. i never knew her intentions and honestly i wish she'd tell me cause' i genuinely have no hatred towards her i think she was really nice back then. now she's just being nice to my face, and the worst part is she's been literally watching me on insta and copying almost everything i do, whether it'd be a hobby or a topic of something she'd always post something similar and it honestly just bothers me because i don't know why she keeps doing this jfc. maybe we could've been best friends if she hadn't been brainwashed by my whackass ex
