focus on the positives

With this year coming to a close, instead of airing my grievances (there are plenty), I shall channel my energies into the positives. See how many you can recall:

1) I played a bowling alley, a golf course, and a farm with a corn maze. Maybe next will be a ski slope.

2) Bought not one but TWO used (but new to me) 7-strings. I have never ever bought two guitars in the same year. But I purchased two between July and October.

3) Remastered two albums, released some ambient songs.

4) Got to play a benefit show for TM Stevens in NYC, and received validation from Living Colour.

5) I learned to let go of who I thought Steve Bello was. Embracing who I really am. I still love to play guitar but no longer feel the need to be THE GUITAR PLAYER and impress people.

What will 2025 bring?

No clue.
