ooouuuggghhh... I loathe the days when that little light in my dash tells me it's time to change the oil because of situations like these. Today i went to the Walmart auto repair shop to get an oil change at to fix my passenger side headlight, and it was a nightmare!!!! Me and my mom walked in at 11;00, gave the details on our car, and I handed over my keys, business as usual. We were given an estimated time of 30min - 1hr~. so we started walking around the store for a couple of minutes, then after a while (11:30) we walked back to see if they've taken it in, they didn't it was exactly where we left it at, so my mom walked up to the employee and asked "when will our car be serviced?" to which we were told "your name is next on the list, please be patient".
so we walked around the store more, bought some water and candy to soothe our nerves and walked back to the waiting area again (12:15) to ask AGAIN "is our car going to be serviced soon?" to which were told "your name is next" so we informed the guy were were told that already, and nothing has happened, we were told we don't have high priority because other peoples cars needed more work, and an oil change could be done quickly.
so we sat down and waited even more, and after another while (12:45) my mom got tired of waiting and walked over to the manager and told her "I'm tired of waiting, nothing is getting done here, give me my keys" to which the manager responded "of course! let me get that for you" and walked to the repair area, after a minute or two, i noticed through the window that my car was being taken to the back, and i informed my mom of this.
after the car disappeared from our sight, the manager came back and told us "we're sorry for the wait, the car was just taken in and our team lead will be personally work on it, but if you want to leave we'll give you the keys." i gave a heavy sigh and said "well, it's already in there, might as well let them finish..." my mom begrudgingly agreed, and we sat back on those uncomfortable metal bench and waited some more.
The seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours, and hours felt like days.
but finally, FINALLY I got the text that informed me that my car was done (1:35) we went in line to pick up our keys and walked out the door a little later (1:45) after we got in our car and made our way home, we agreed we'll never go to walmart for repair again, and as i was signaling to enTer the cul-de-sac my house in...
I noticed that my headlight wasn't fucking fixed.
hooray....... I'm never going back there again, 2 two hours and forty-five minutes for what? an oil change and an unfixed headlight?
WHAT A WASTE OF SIXTY BUCKS AND NINETY-SEVEN CENTS!!!!! FUCK WALMART!1!!!
