Up until now I've been using a 6$ mouse from Ollie's (can't even remember the brand). It worked fine and didn't have any issues besides the fact it definitely felt like $6 and the ugly color I got bc it was the only one they had left. Today I got a Logitech M325s at Walmart because it was on sale for $9.88. Total steal. Online it's one of their best sellers and priced at about $20.
First of all I'm super biased towards compact mice so the size is probably my favorite thing. This one makes me realize how unnecessarily bulky my last one was. Logitech is always pretty solid in terms of quality/value and that applies to this too. It doesn't feel like just cheap plastic you could snap, looks clean, and even the USB receiver looks noticeably better than the old one. It has nice edges and no tacky logo- little details. Amazing for $10 but I prob wouldn't get it at full price and it definitely wouldn't be worth ordering online with shipping costs.
The wheel is meant to be fast, they call it a 'speed wheel', which is cool and fine but I prefer more resistance there. It also feels a little loose and can wiggle from side to side but the scrolling is totally fine and the rest of it makes that one little thing worth it imo. INFINITELY better than my super cheap old one and for only ~4 dollars more.
Pros:
> Nice weight
> Quality and price
> Textured rubber grips on the sides
> Battery included!!
Cons
> Speed wheel (personal preference)
> No bluetooth - bad if you don't have a usb port or adapter.
^ looks less blue irl
