Yall NEEEEEED to get onto this musical swear DOWN 🛼🚂

OKAY first thing first, THIS WILL BE LONG! I love this musical and i need to tell yall, it’s called starlight express by andrew lloyd webber and it’s about SENTIENT TRAINS and all the actors are on ROLLER SKATES!!! Currently there’s 2 versions you can actually go see running which is the OG in bochum germany and the revival version in london. Both of these are currently running and i’m BEGGING my parents to let me see it 😔 So the whole plot of this musical is that there are trains, rusty the main character is a steam train and is trying to like prove that he’s just as good as the rest of the trains as steam are seen as useless now innit. Hes also trying to impress and win the heart of one of the carriages called pearl, who is a first class observation carriage. That’s like the shortest i can go for an explanation of the lore and it might not be so accurate, if you want to actually get into this show don’t trust me for all your info LMAO XD. There’s obviously lots of other characters in this and it’s going to be hard to explain all of them, especially since both of the running version have different characters in too 😭 Theres 2 other main “villainy” characters called greaseball and electra, which rusty races against i think. Greaseball is a deisel train and electra is an electric train. ALSO in the london version, greaseball is a LESBIAN, THATS RIGHT THERES GAY TRAINS!!! And in both version electra is queer, but i think it’s different aswell. In the german version, i’ve heard that they are gender fluid and in the london versions their non binary. NO MATTER WHAT ITS GAY!! Which i LIVE, LAUGH AND LOVE. I’ll shut up now because this is getting longer than my gcse english paragraphs, they should let me yap about these silly trains 😔 That’s me signing off now!
