Hello!! This is my first time blogging so don’t judge me :>
I’m 18 years old. Well… in 30 minutes I’ll be 18! And I’ve been playing chess since February. And joined a club in march. And aaaa I just love chess so much!!! It’s so fun and I’ve met so many cool people with it. (Even tho most chess players here are middle aged men..) I’ve even met my boyfriend there!? And a really good friend which is his best friend! They’re both gonna be at my birthday tomorrow.
Enough rambling about that. I’ve played my first chess tournament in september I believe. It was in a city nearby and it was 2vs2. So me and my bf signed up together as a team. It was actually so fun and everyone was so nice. My partner is a very outgoing person so he talked to everyone with such ease and I wish I could do that!! But hey I guess I have him for that? And at this tournament I actually won 4 games out of 7! Which is really not that bad. My partner got 0 points but he really did play well. Anddddd we even won a prize! And I even got my own applause because I only played for a few months :0
At my local chess club I’m now at place 18 I believe from the 38 active members. I’m actually the only girl there so that’s a bit sad but there are like 3 other people from my age and it’s really fun to hang out with them :)) I am in the third extern competitive team there but I haven’t played a game yet. Most games go to team 1 but I believe I have a game in march!
30th December I have a blits tournament! It’s organized by my local chess club and there are already 32 participants. It’s at a bar and I’m actually so so nervous. I’m excited too. The intimidating thing is that there are only men there!! I’m the only girl T.T luckily my boyfriend and another good friend is there too. It’s 5 minutes on the clock for each person and each game. and it’s until midnight?! So wish me luck!!! That same week I have another tournament, also blitz. And there’s even a international master playing there and I hope I can meet him!!!
Anywaaayyy let me know if you would like to hear more about my chess life or whatever :D I could endlessly talk about it.
Until next time >_<

the best way to play chess well is to play simple chess. like avoiding complicated lines or complications in the game.
