dying ur hair red

recently i dyed my hair red and it was sorta ginger,, even then after i washed it sure some orange came out,, but then i started dying it red to make it look more like . wine red ?? AND OH MY GOD every single EVERY SINGLE time i shower it looks like a MURDER SCENE i heard people talking abt this when having red hair BUT ??? NOT TO THIS EXTENT???? IT WAS HORRIFYING. i closed my eyes to wash my hair then opened my eyes and GOD DUDE I THOUFHT I WAS DYING i then had to wipe down the entire shower so it didn't shower which was so so great ! guys whadda frick ALSO does anybody else with coloured hair like specifically red hair have any good shampoos or tips to help it stay for longer??? pls and ty !!! :))
