Nilex is/was real

Okay hear me out, I mean I just read an entire google doc about this, remember I was fangirling about Nilex (Alex x Nick) and stuff? Turns out there's a person who literally compilled a bunch of evidence on Alex having feelings for Nick for the entire Franz Ferdinand career, I'll do a mini sumary (If I can).

So look, basically this person says that within their whole career and even before Alex had feelings for Nick. We start with the fact that they were flatmates in 2002-2004 so yeah, also Alex in most of FF's songs hides hints of his attraction to Nick, Let's start about Michael.

Michael is obviouslt the gayest song of them and pretty self-explainatory, this song basically talks about feeling atracted to men sexually BUT this is not just that, hold on.

In pre-Franz era they released a single "Missing you," Alex explained that this song was about the death of his grandfather but hold on.

HUH?! This literally can be Alex's feeling towards Nick's parter Manuela, this feeling is obviously jealousy okay?!

Now remember my blog talking about Auf Achse? Hear me out, this song talks about a love that hurts, a love can't be like "loved"? And this talks about of religous guilt/trauma Alex feel for having feelings towards someone his same gender, also the song's title is in German, and who has German roots? NICK. Also this song is not in German so aha, you understand. 

Now Love and Destroy. The origial lyrics was "I'm so gay I could lacerate" instead of "I'm so free" HUHHH. I mean hello??

Now we move on to 2005 with YCHSMB (You Could Have It So Much Better). I mean just read the title!!! Nick could it have it so much better if he was with Alex instead of Manuela!!! Also Nick and Manuela got married a few months before the album was out.

Now The Fallen. This song is about being rebelious and criticizing Christianity as to like "fight" the religious guilt/trauma in Auf Achse. This song doesn't have that much of evidence but something is something.

Now Do You Want to. Okay this one is pretty damn obvious, look.

"Your famous friend, well, I knew him before you!" 

BRO. Is self-explainatory, also I just came up with this while writing this, this part.

"Well, he's a friend and he's so proud of you, your famous friend, well, I blew him before you, oh yeah!" ARE YOU TELLING WHAT I THINK YOU'RE TELLING ME KAPRANOS?!

Outsider, okay this one has more things but as I said you can get all the information in the original documen. 

"Love will die, lovers fade, but you still remain there" - I mean Alex can't and literally can't stop loving or wanting his crush (Nick) even if he's getting married with Manuela so this makes him feel like an outsider in his "relatioship" with Nick. This has more sense in the document.

Now Walk Away.

"Mascara bleeds a blackend tear" 

Okay this has some sense, hear me out, Alex wore makeup in 2004 and 2005, mostly eyeliner/mascara. So these are my thoughts, Alex knowing Nick was getting married with Manuela broke his heart which made him cry and perhaps while he did he wore make up???

Now Fade Together. This is actually my thought but the title is self-explainatory.

"Berlin, I love you" - Nick grew up in there an lives there now, so DUH is damn obvious.

Nick got married a few months before the album was released, this person says that Alex did not attent to Nick's wedding but they don't have any evidence of it.

We move to 2009 with Tonight

Bite Hard.

"You don't know I sing these songs for you/ you don't the pseudonyms I assume"

So this is the only lyrics that doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the song, the song basically criticizes religion, so why the hell put this?? Alex hid this hint well, hear me out, Nick doesn't know that all of the songs above Alex wrote were for him, and Alex knew this so he hide this hint to Nick (seems he didn't noticed it either).

Now 2011 look.

Seven Silvers, The Codex Box song is a project Manuela has with Nick, this song was written by Manuela about Nick. Now here it gets more fucked up, hear this song and then Bullet by FF, does the lyrics sound the same?? THAT'S BECAUSE ALEX ADAPTED THE LYRICS. 

2012

This was Alex's denim jacket, read again, Alex's jacket 

Nick got the same jacket in 2013 and he still has it at this time. Alex gave it to him.

Alex is jealous of Nicks relation with Manuela I mean isn't that obvious.

So in the first verse basicaly Alex is just hating on Manuela, this is because in a review of this Project Nick and her had they described her voice as "mousy," Just look.

Okay From here there's more tweets I recomend you to go and see the original document. I said I was going to make like a small sumary but I ended up doing this. Basically from here this doc talks about Alex's and Nick's conlict as he left the band to focus on his own thing, but now I came to this while reading the doc. What if Nick left because he found out of Alex's feelings somehow, either because of the songs or just found out for some reason, this lead to an argument, a very bad one, which lead them in bad terms. Now if you go and see the tweets of Alex he's constanly ridiculing him online and stuff, and also replaying to other tweet with this "Nick's dead" or "Sure thing. Can I be the detective? Bob and Paul the suspects? And Nick the murder victim?" I mean, bro. Also some years back he said that he would tell the whole story in some years to come. Well guess what, here in Colombia a few days after their show in Bogotá (I was there btw) Bob and Alex did an interview to the "El Espectador" talking literally about this, I saw the title, I tried to read it but I'm not suscribed to it, so it didn't let me see it gosh. Perhaps he was talking about the whole mess that happened between Nick and him.

I also spent most of the day writing this blog because my autistic ass is just aaa. This is too much.
