subcultures. (subcultures vs basic girls)

Im already SO prepared for the backlash i'll get on this one.. if my gatekeeping blog had that much backlash i can only imagine this one.

this blog contains opinions, this blog contains takes that arent fully researched on, takes from personal views, personal opinons, and a different warning than usual, the following text was written a month or so ago when this was happening more, its the same text with a few upgrades and changes. Subcultures vs Basic girls.

so basically this all started when i stubbled upon a video hating on “basic” girls and how they lack individual type mindset, like “be a person!” and i started thinking more on it ..i ONLY see people from like punk, goth, and emo subcultures hating on basic people.. like ive watched COUNTLESS videos and i NEVER see a “basic” person hating on p&g&e girls. . And like p&g&e girls are always complaining on how basic girls are “hating"

WHEN THEYRE NOT?and like i see more p&g&e people hating on basic people for NO reason, and esp during the holidays because basic girls are like “what do we want for christmas” or “what jacket are we wearing in 2025” WHICH FOR SOME REASON P&G&E PEOPLE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH?

one, its never bad having inspo from people. its FINE. maybe they just dont have any ideas? dawg.

and on the topic of like the “what are we wearing for 2025” and etc.
like people are hating on every basic girl doing the same stuff.. BUT LIKE IF YOU SEE IT THIS WAY
and this is probably wild for me to say but
HOW CAN EMO PPL HATE ON BASIC PEOPLE FOR DOING THE SAME THINGS WHEN

EMO PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME HAIR STYLES.
and SCENE PEOPLE
AND GOTH PEOPLE TOO
LIKE THEYRE ALL COPY AND PASTING EACHOTHER WITHIN THAT CERTAIN SUBCULTURE BUT WHEN THE BASIC GIRLS DO IT ITS WRONG?

more on this is, back then, subcultures like punk, and emo, and goth, and more.. uniqueness in that subculture. like if theres a group of punk people together, they all look punk, but theres differences. same with emo and goth, but now? i can show you different pictures of different goth (*just using goth as the exp, no fr hate on goths i love yall) people, but you most likely wouldn't see a big difference.

basic girls js wanna wear their uggs and match together.. leave em alone bro
goth ppl can have the fluffly hair, and legit the same dresses and corsets but basic ppl cant have uggs? :/
and emo ppl have their skinny jeans, and hair styles,
LIKE THEY JS THINK ITS FINE BC THEYRE „COOLER?“ this is js an exm, not a assumption on every subculture
like basic ppl dont tell you what to wear but you can??? from what ive seen, they dont.
stop preaching abt stuff ur currently doing
like how are we making fun of basics for wanting to match swimsuits or something when emos have had the same hairstyles since before the 2000s BSFFR. not targeting, and im not to entirely sure when the emo subculture started gaining traction, but the 2000s is my guess, so. moral of the story hating on ANY subculture, aesthetic or style isnt COOL.

alright, you know what time it is.

none of any of the said words are meant to hurt, offend, target, or any of the such. i am not against any subculture, i DO get that theres basic people that bark and insult people in public, and online, but the main group of basic people i am mentioning in this blog , are the innocent nice girls just wanting to be basic or preppy idk the term they like.
