Okay so idk how to explain this, but like I have made trousers heavily based on the tripp nyc trousers
(smth like this: https://trippnyc.com/collections/bottoms/products/electro-pant-1 but does not exactly look like that)
And like you can turn the long trousers into shorts, but like how do I do that? Without the zipper thing leaving from the zipper and like make it work overall? Do I need to buy specific type of zipper to make it work or?
Would be so glad if someone helps out with this due I'm trying to also make it possible to turn my jean jacket into a vest if needed.
Or should I instead use those sticky things (idk what they're called) instead of zippers???

you can just get any zipper in the right length, it works exactly the same as zipping up a jacket or something except in a circle (try holding any zipper in a circle shape if you don't get how it works)

Was thinking abt it, but like I cut zipper out of old backpack, but like the zipper clip or wtv it's called left the zipper when tried it out (w/o gluing it or anything to the trouser), so like so I need to get a zipper with the clipper stops or do I need to make it go so like the zipper never stops (like it connects to the ends)???

you could probably just fold the ends up a bit before the zip ends so it can't come off
