I'm someone who has the problem of wanting to write more but is always stuck in world building hell. Like it's the consequences of growing up in the "cinema sins" era of the internet because I'm spending so much time trying to plug up plot holes that can't exist cause I haven't started writing yet lol.
So with my first Tapas story, Candy Coated Villainesses, I've been forcing myself to write. I set the base for the world and now I have to flesh it out through actual character writing and plot and........
I've been enjoying it. Everyone ppl said "don't spend too much time world building", I just felt like they didn't understand but I get it now. And with something like posting stories online, I can take those little hiatuses to work on more of the story and focus on researching events and things of the 20s and 30s (and 40s) eras to help better write a semi-believable story.
Like I have so many concept characters for the story that I want to flesh out for different reasons and I'm happy that I'm getting closer to actualizing them. I'm still taking my time obviously but like...I'm also making time for side chapters that do nothing but help fill out the world and don't necessarily have anything to do with the main plot or the main characters.
Next time is either drawing them or just making them in the sims. (I haven't drawn in ages)
