Posting YouTube Content

So, I've been pretty lax at posting content to my YouTube page. I was going to focus my YouTube towards my genealogy hobby but I noticed as far as views go, that content doesn't get much traction.  Previously, I posted a video about testing the Splash Foam Cleaner and Spray, which tended to get a lot more views.  I thought about posting more videos like that but I'm not sure that I want to go buy products just for the sake of testing them to create YouTube videos.  The only other videos that gained some traction were my beach/ocean pictures, but I don't go there often enough for there to be enough content.

Ultimately, as the holidays wind down and we enter the new year, I am going to refocus my commitment to posting to my YouTube channel.  I think, however, that I will make it more of a variety channel.  There are probably a couple more videos I could do regarding genealogy but thinking about expanding the channel into educational type videos and maybe delve into politics a little bit (if I do delve into politics on YouTube channel, my goal with those kind of videos will  to make them educational as well rather than hyper-partisan).
