look, i cant make a good first blog entry. if i did, it would set the standard too high from this point on. you know that art hack where you scribble all over the first page of a new sketchbook? im basically doing an online version of that

im probably gonna use this blog to post thoughts that require too many words to go on status.cafe, but also arent worth the effort it would take to post on my personal site. so a lot of mediocre yapping mostly

for a while i was using tumblr for that, but,,, i dont super enjoy using sites where i can keep scrolling and scrolling without absorbing any information. so far i like the pace on spacehey a lot more - i log in, catch up with whats happened lately, and then im done! plus, if theres anything i dont wanna see, im probably not gonna find it unless im actively looking for it. or if someone harasses me ig, but thats what the block button is for

(also, heres my very first random opinion that nobody asked for: a social media site that doesnt let you block other users is a terrible idea)
