Opossums ♥

Opossums (not to be confused with possums):

- the only marsupial native to north America

- have opposable thumbs

- are resistant to venom 

- have 50 teeth (more than any north American mammal)

- have a very low blood temperature, which makes them resistant to rabies

- can eat up to 5,500 ticks in a week

- are equal to or more intelligent than dogs, making them highly trainable

Overall, opossums are good buddies; Be nice to them.
