humans are less sophisticated than demons

and yet the grudges they hold are more complex

their compulsion to lie is unmatched

they struggle desperately their entire lives

and carelessly trample those in their way

they steal and are stolen from

they are hopeless 

and yet still they strive to get over the hill far away

but then i suppose that's why humans are so interesting
