Karma

As far as I know: Karma is an intrinsic quality or property, serving as a modality of causation. The term originates from the Sanskrit word for "action," and is occasionally rendered as "kamma" in Pali, retaining the same connotation. Karma pertains to the causative principles underlying volitional or deliberate actions.

Karma is not real in the way the West has distorted/stolen and appropriated it from religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism etc.. To the best of my understanding, the original concept of karma is that justice won't pop-up till the next reincarnation.

"AAll people were said to be in their current situation as a result of the seeds planted by previous actions. Naturally these actions included those taken in previous lives."

I don't believe in reincarnation in the first place. This is just a small yapping session, but in my opinion: If karma works in the way the Westerners say it works, we wouldn't see so much iniquities. I personally believe that people who think that karma is real are in a privileged position, "Oh! but they got their karma.." I personally believe that it's genuinely just..pure luck.
