there is no alternative people in my town, the only people i see who are alternative in any way in my town is my friend and his sister, i went to Leeds at the weekend to see slipknot and i could not believe how many alternative people i was seeing in one space.
i want to dress alternatively so badly but my friend gets harassed quite a lot for being emo, I'm going to move to Bristol bc I've been told that there is more alternative people up there. its so annoying.
i want to dress scene so badly but at the same time i dont want to be made fun of, get my pictures taken without my consent, get beaten or even stabbed. i want more freedom, i should be able to dress the way i want without having to worry about if someone is about to beat my ass just for the way i dress.

if you want to dress scene/alt just do it , you have to accept the fact if you do you WILL have people judging you. Back in the earlier 2000s it was way worse than now , hell even a whole country tried to ban the emo subculture (Russia). Being alternative isn't just about the clothing its also about the mindset , you shouldn't care if people make fun of you for it, that's just how people are
If you do decide to dress in a alternative way , when you go out you can try playing music in your earbuds, you'll be distracted by the music you could care less if people are looking at you or not x-P
