Ghosted by a Sugar Daddy???

I knowww another crashout post. This is just how I vent but yeah. 

Imma just say this might be my own naivety getting the best of me (cuz daddy issues??) so if you think I was dumb for falling for this then fuck you too! We all have our moments. Let me learn from mine. 

Anyways...

Guy adds me on SpaceHey. I add back and he greet me first. He tells me he's an older man and I could care less. I conversate better with older ppl irl if anything so I of course don't mind. He claims that he's 40 years old, in real estate and a private contractor in Washington. He cuts to the chase asking if I'd consider being his sugar baby..

I said yes, duh. Tf I look like passing that up for?

He sets his conditions, saying he doesn't want sex and just wants to talk to someone who he can potentially travel and hang out with. We actually start to have a nice conversation, talking about travel destinations and life in general. 

I find out that he's lonely after his divorce and has two kids who live with the ex wife. Nothing I haven't heard. He asks for my number and I give to him since he wanted to call on the phone. He asks if I want to be his sugar baby and I say yes! (This conversation happens over the span of two to three days.)

He offers to pay $500 ASAP starting as a weekly allowance, asking what bank institution I use. I'm internally wanting to ask for his number back so I can at least background check it or something but I hold off on that. 

Big fucking mistake. 

I tell him I can only use Cashapp. Suddenly bro goes offline. I didn't think anything of it because earlier in the convo he apologized for responding late, saying that he was tied up with work or something. 

I see he comes back online hours later only to go offline again. He even had a new person added so I was getting sussed out. I text multiple times but not too much, just wondering where he went and if he was okay. You know...cuz he's old. What if he had a fucking stroke or sumn??

So it's been well over a day now. I wake up to check our messages today again only to find I'm suddenly blocked. 

Bruh.

I searched his username and saw that he was online I just could'nt text him or anything. What do you y'all think? Do you think he was legit and just got spooked or do you think it was all a sham?

I'm not really mad about this one because all I lost was my time. Nothing I don't already waste. But it seemed so legit. He even typed like an older guy if that makes sense. Very polite and whatnot. If it was all for nothing why did he even bother apologizing for replying late?? If you really that invested for the bit you have to be lowkey insane.
