I hate when I see someone say their a fan of an artist and they only know their most popular song. like for example people who say their a fan of chris lsaak or mitski but only know wicked game and my love mine all mine, like you do know the artist has more songs, right? So don't go around saying you're a fan if you only know one song let alone their most popular one.

There popular songs for a reason though?? Some people just don't like an artist's other songs? Why can't people just like an artist an say they like them even if they only know the popular songs?? (Not trying to be rude I just wanna know)
I never said there was anything wrong with liking the most popular songs, I simply said you shouldn't call yourself a fan if you only know their most popular song.

And the reason why I don't like it is because when I see someone say their a fan of an artist I like I get excited yk? So when I try talking to them about the artist and they know absolutely nothing but the most popular songs, it's just a annoying. like I'm a fan and you simply like a few of their songs, there's a difference.
