It seems that SpaceHey made an update to their media servers (the stuff that handles profile pics) at some point, which resulted in browser cache issues. As a result, sometimes, user might load profiles with profile pics, and once they load it too early, their profile pic will never appear until cache is clear. This seems to affect all browsers.
I had originally thought it was a moderation queue, but I find my pic appears within 5 minutes if I clear my cache every few minutes, so maybe something was added to the media servers a while back that is causing issues.
To get around this, you could use another browser, but you should just clear your cache instead, so pictures work on the main browser you're on! You can do so from the same place you clear browser history! I do not have a guide for every browser so you might need to google it.
Here's what worked for me on Chrome: (and should work for all browsers based on chrome, i.e: Chromium, Supermium)
1. Open Settings (in your browser! this should be self explanatory)
2. Privacy and Security -> Delete browsing data
3. Uncheck "Browsing history" and "Cookies and other site data", check "Cached images and files"
4. Set Time range to "All-time" (THIS IS IMPORTANT! DO NOT FORGET TO DO THIS!)
5. Click "Delete data"
And here's what worked for me on Firefox:
1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (or turn on Menu Bar and go to History -> Clear recent history...)
2. Change When to "Everything"
3. Check "Temporary cached files and pages", uncheck everything else
4. Click "delete"
Uncheck cookies and browsing history, or you'll lose your history and be logged out of all sites!!! Unless if you meant to do that, of course, lol.
There's also a lot of people coming to this thread to ask about their pfp. Yes, we can see it! Yours probably isn't showing because you need to clear your cache. If you know how to do it, I'll leave it to you.

The issues are back! As if gaslighting me before into thinking it wasn't moderation, then later gaslighting me into thinking it was moderated, now a server outage, and now this.
Everybody will just unfortunately have to wait again for new pic changes. :(

As far as I'm aware, this isn't moderation. The cache is just terrible. I've triggered this so many times just minutes after opening profiles which had changed pics. It does not seem to be moderation at all. It's cache.

For profile pictures not appearing after a day has passed seems to be a cache issue on Chrome (and everything Chromium based. This includes Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, etc because they use the same browser engine). I main Firefox and didn't have issues, but after switching to a Chromium browser (i use Superium!), I had this issue today.
