I don't think many people understand how hard it is to be an art student. Compared to other schools, the hours are crazy. Like, what do you mean? I have been in school for 13 hours straight at 16. It seems illegal to keep kids in class so long.
I mean, I can't even remember the last time I've seen the sun throughout the week. I go to school when it's dark outside, and I leave when it's dark outside. My life at this moment is a never-ending cycle, and I can't seem to escape it. Not even on weekends do I have the energy to do anything productive or fun.
I mean, aren't your teens supposed to be full of experiencing and learning lessons from life?
My freshman year I didn't even draw outside of school; that's how much I hated it. This year I'm trying to draw a little bit, but it is just so exhausting.
Well, thanks for reading my little rant here. Feel free to start a discussion in the comments; I would love to talk about it more.
