TV and indie animation is pretty sick with its casting... but movies?
WHAT THE FAHK IS WITH BIG MOVIES ALWAYS CASTING CRAPPY CELEBRITIES???
Especially mainstream ones. and ESPECIALLY ones who can't act for shit. Why do they all spend millions of dollars hiring these major celebrities when they're gonna provide a way worse voice job than if they hired ACTUALLY GOOD VOICE ACTORS?
When will these dam corpos admit that nobody really cares if the main character is voiced by Soulja Boy or Dwayne Johnson?? I'd fucking KILL for a big budget animated movie with actual good voice actors filling up the entire cast, like SungWon Cho, Micheal Kovach, or Richard Horvitz.
why wont big brands take the hint?
P.S. also the mario chris pratt thing doesn't count as "celeb casting works" coz the only real reason people noticed that is because a: its the MARIO MOVIE and b: it's a really outlandish casting choice and people noticed dat
P.P.S. not sure if live action movies get a pass or not. i'll think about it
