ADOBE SUCKS MAD DICK: HERE'S SOME WAYS TO AVOID IT

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY 

I'm a design major in my high school, and they have provided us with a free license for Adobe until we graduate. I graduate this June, so that's coming up. However, I have not been using any Adobe apps for the past few months because I have found some other apps that I believe are equal to or better than certain Adobe apps. I will update this list if I find any new programs, and please do share your own recommendations for programs in the comments if you have any and I will check them out!

DISCLAIMER: These apps, of course, are all free, and while they are very cool they may not have ALL of the features that the Adobe apps have. These aren't perfect alternatives, they are just ones that I have found useful to me.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP:

Many of these apps below (if not all of them) are paint apps, but they have some functions that are similar to Photoshop.
