“whats your name?” sae asks, not even turning to look at lara in the eye as he stares off into the sunset.

“lara.” lara answers in a heartbeat, her heart going doki-doki the moment he asked, ‘he’s… interested in me.!’

sae quirks an eyebrow in confusion,

“…no last name?”

“uh… no.”

sae finally turns to look at lara in the eye, the sunset’s colours shining on his face in all the right angles as lara could only stare back up at sae in awe.

“i’ll give you my last name, then.”
