so im writing this because i looked at my 11 YEAR OLD sisters christmas list, every single thing was from temu, shein, etc etc
i get that this is a year-round problem, but we need to stop with the overconsumption of fast-fashion at christmas ( and the consumption of fast fashion in general ) i really dont get how we have normalised buying from these downright disgusting companies, i get that before shein and temu and aliexpress etc we still had places like h&m, but the practices of these companies are in every single way worse.
go to thrifts, thrift online, DIY clothing i dont mind just stop buying from these companies relying on glorified slave labour

I'd love to also stop buying from bershka, h&m and such companies, but I cannot afford designer and the thrifts here are close to none. lately I started this practice of buying used stuff on vented and customizing it and I gotta say there are only bright sides to this: you get exactly the clothing you want, made how you want it; it's sustainable and it's gratifying. wish more people started doing this

Exactly! This is also why I hate holiday based clothing. They’re used once and then nb uses them anymore.
