I live in a small, dark house. I like a lot of light. And I can get enough light with the windows we've got. However.
Right now it's seven below zero outside.
The house has those double-insulated windows but at this stage of Cold, it comes through anyway. It's like the Cold is pressing in on the house.
I can get it warmer in here... but.
Gotta cover the windows to do that. Let down the blinds and pull the curtains, then it's warm. And Dark.
*SIGH*
Gonna be a long winter, friends... *face palm* :/

Only eight days to the solstice. Only sixteen days to get back to this point.
Just over two weeks, Jon. You only got just over two weeks before you can see the daylight getting longer again.

I, too, am a natural light enjoyer. I'd suggest extra lamps with daylight white bulbs, or maybe some LED candles, or one of those electric fireplaces… You can get TV stands with those built into 'em now!
one of the problems is the dark furniture and the chocolate brown walls.
I think I'm lucky the ceiling is still white. mom has weird taste in home decor :P

yep just cloudy cold and dark here too... gets dark at 4:30pm!! crazy
and no sunrise until almost eight! it is teh suxxzorz! D:

I know what you mean. We hardly get any sun all winter up here in northern Michigan. It gets very depressing!
