been trying to write music again

i've been trying to start writing music again. i took a very long break from trying to really focus and write some riffs and stuff, senior year is kicking my ass.. i'm finally getting my act together though, and i think some songs are coming together nicely. i've been writing more songs using open chords and much more basic structures, keeping it mainly 4/4 and 6/8. doing those structures makes it easier to focus on writing more in-depth lyrics. idk just wanted to post about this.
