Modded Minecraft: Quaxly needs to come home...

Playing on the server and RAGHH... I was working on the dex last time I played so I picked it up again, completely putting my shiny breeding project on hold. Out of all the water starters, the most frustrating one I'm missing is Quaxly. Unfortunately it only spawns in River biomes, and only on shores. Which means it cannot spawn underwater / in the water. Which is unfortunate because most of the time the shores of rivers are actually considered plains or whatever the nearby biome is (which is usually plains. lets be fair) and that means I have to use this UGLY SHODDY SPAWN PLATFORM TO EVEN ATTEMPT AT GETTING ONE

This is really ugly and also it sucks. And also this server requires ugly platforms to be 10k+ out from spawn (which is fair) so I am SOOO far out from everyone else rn. I can't just do this on the ground because then the spawns from the nearby plains and village will just fill the spawn attempts. Ntm any starter is in the rarest spawn bucket AND it shares that bucket with a few other pokemon, so Imma be at this for a while. Well, at least with this set up Quaxly is the highest chance in their spawn bucket... Still though. RAGHHH. 

I can't breed or trade for one either, since that doesn't count toward the dex. Shame, but I get it. Last time I played on a pokemon mc server (Pixelmon to be exact) most people just swapped rare pokemon back n forth so they wouldn't have to actually look for one. This does make it more challenging and makes the rewards more meaningful, which is nice. And also, Pixelmon spawns are wayyyy more messy than Cobblemon ones. So many pokemon that are needlessly rare even though they suck ass. Not to mention the horrible legendary mechanics... I mean, not nessecarily horrible in a vaccuum. But horrible on a server, for sure. If you wanted that Mew you had to sit around in the Sunflower Plains for hours on end, not only hoping a legendary would spawn IN GENERAL, but also ON YOU. And with some legendaries sharing spawn locations with other ones you sometimes had a coin flip or even a total toss up on getting the one you needed. Often times the legendaries in question weren't even that desirable on their own, since Pixelmon's movepool was so limited or the fact there were just better ones out there. 

Seriously, though. Out of the 20ish regulars that'd play daily and the 15-or-so other active players on the server (averaging around 20-30 active users at any given time), I vividly remember there were only TWO with an Oranguru. These shits just would NOT spawn. That one Oranguru was probably passed around the entire server for dex credit, LMAO.

So yeah. I do get why it is the way it is on this server. But man. Hunting for starters SUCKS. At least I found a Torchic while building this platform (two, actually..), which was a nice spawn to knock off of my list. Gotta breed it up for that shiny HA 6IV one, of course. Gotta get that Mega Blaziken sweep going... :P
