So, im pretty new here and i was curious about yall's opinions when a random person text's you!!
In general, it would be very nice to hear about how people communicate here the most and make friends, since im a bit shy to do smth weird and cross someone's boundaries! ( >m<)

i find the idea exciting, but most of the time i get annoyed by the lack of person's... communicating or comprehending skills if I could say that. I don't like pulling out information out of person, when I didn't even texted first

Generally I wouldnt mind being coldcalled, so to speak, as long as the person wasnt being weird or creepy about it. Maybe they have a specific question or just feel more comfortable with a private message as opposed to commenting on my profile or whatever.
I do find myself slightly bothered by random friend requests from people that I havent interacted with on here before, especially when they dont message me or something but I'm aware that is a personal peeve based on experiences from other websites so I dont hold it against anyone.

ultimately i don't mind but it heavily depends on the opening message and their profile.
I see, are spam messages or creeps common here??
