Blog #1 (Funeral Doom Metal)

I've been listening to a lot of Funeral Doom lately, especially Shape of Despair and Longing For Dawn. Their albums "Shades of..." and "One Lonely Path" are otherworldly and devoid of life. Wonderful albums to just shut your brain off to and admire the brilliance. Also "The Last Tape Before Doomsday" by Worship is an extremely underrated piece of Funeral Doom Metal, it's very raw and simple, but even so, the music seeps of gloom and sorrow like no other demo I've heard before.
