interest in the macabre

I've always had a morbid interest for the macabre, ever since I was young. I don't know why I'm interested in it. I think it may be because of past traumatic experiences that happened when I was younger, and maybe because I was exposed to the internet at such a young age. Or a mix of both--yeah that seems like a reasonable explanation !

Anyway, people think I'm weird for it, including my boyfriend :'<.. But I respect it and I understand; though it sort of ticks me off, can't I at least talk about something that I'm really interested in without people calling me strange for it? I feel so hurt ! ! !
