post job life

soooo lost my job last week. got told tues or wednesday that wld be my last week. bummed for no more money and will miss the good stuff (free snacks, chatty coworkers, easy work that filled the time) but happy to leave the bad stuff behind (racist favoritism from the team leads, 40 min one way drive at 7am in the snow and ice, driving + the work were cramping my legs and hands bad)

still need to switch back to medicaid, im just gonna fill out a whole new application bc fuckin whatever. and have to sort out my meds from OK too.. sigh. idk. moms being terrible about it all as usual. she also got on me abt my boxes in storage being in storage. and that i dont want my things covered in plaster dust. grrrr. fuck off.

my birthday is this week though! thursday, 12/12 :) gonna have some friends over.. can play jackbox maybe, or just hang and chat, or idk! M3, L4, & A1 i already messaged.. will have to msg M3s brother and L4s partner to invite them too. other than that... will invite L3.. A7 maybe? i have more casual friends but i dont think theres parking room for that many at mine lol. will be a bit of a puzzle game to get everyone parked and then unparked later. thinking about food to get for the day, idk... i dont like pizza :| but its hard to get a meal for Everyone thats easy. ill have to think on it. pasta?? ohh or like um. hot dogs or sausage or smth, sandwiches, and then snacks like bags of chips and some cookies. and obvs a cake! maybe an ice cream cake or smth??

also planning out gifts for the holidays. my moms getting a bluray of a cdrama she loves thats disappeared from streaming services. my dad im restoring an antique of his dads but i need to buy a new part for it and that shit expensiveeee. brother idfk all his wishlist is expensive and like yeah man No lol. but i have ones picked out for a few friends.. L4 is getting a leather care set if i can pull one together. his partner gets some old glasses of mine shell be over the moon about. M3 i have some ideas for making things... gonna draw smth for G1 ^_^ and most of the rest idk yet

i also have to start writing my secret santa fic for the server exchange... i have ideas but nothing on paper yet. its gonna be craaazy i think itll blow their mind, and freddies too lol

me and freddie are watching the lotr movies too, we just did two towers today... so good!!! its so fun to watch w him cuz he barely remembers them from being a kid and we just read the books recentish and hes reading me hobbit rn. also been playing a looot on my steam deck i really am in love love love with it. it makes me so happy

i have a meeting tomorrow for a project, and bday thursday, and in between will be freddie time incl some small time. cant wait 💖
