08.12.24 — queer discorse n stuff

managed to actually get some art done 2day, which was nice : ) hope yesterday me is happy. ill render and everything tomorrow, maybe ill even color instead of just doing grayscale.. as much as i love the b&w aesthetic i feel like its slowly making me 4get how to color, and i dont want 2 set myself back too far yk??? idk

i keep getting posts abt queer discourse and xenogenders on my feed and i rlly just cant understand the perspective of these ppl. i dont have any interest in what ppl call themselves 2 make them happy, it all seems completely harmless to me. even w the whole 'giving the queer community a bad name' argument,  y should anyone have to restrict their self expression 4 those who r going to hate them regardless? its okay to just think something is weird and not have a good reason to argue against its existence. n that doesnt even touch on the fact that most* ppl using the labels sparking discourse are just young kids and teens exploring their identities. god its just all so so dumb. i dont care about xenogenders, idc about neopronouns, idc about lesboys or this that and the next thing— just do what u need to do to be your happiest and most authentic self even if its weird n contradictory n confusing godbless
