My Summary: An old lady and an immortal, shapeshifting, eldritch horror from the ocean that looks like her dead husband defend their home on a Scottish isle from greedy, corporate fucks who want to destroy the area for real estate.

Review: 10/10. Beautifully written with a beautiful story to match. I won't lie, with as little spoilers as I can possibly give, this one was heartwarming and made me swoon a little. It left me yearning for more story while still being pleased with how it ends by the last page. A wonderful beginner book if it's your introduction into the genre, in my honest opinion.
