i find it so weird how people seem to talk about the concept of
personality, and people who talk 24/7 about their interest of the week. what do
they even mean by it? EVERYONE is a rich tapestry made out of
experiences and memory and people and influences that have touched their
lives, but somehow people found a way to claim that people who have a
lot of passion for one thing in particular actually aren't in a way that sounds acceptable. it's infuriating!
it feels
like the same kind of sentiment shared by people who perceive some real
life human beings as "NPC's," you're essentially calling someone a flat character to their face just because you haven't unlocked their lore yet. it's not cute or cool, it's dumb and shallow. just say you're not interested in the thing they're talking about and move on like a normal person instead of being rude.

I agree with you. In this day and age, we are all exposed to a mass amount of people and social personalities that seeing someone who has maybe a few traits that describe them as "boring" or "unoriginal". I think we all need to start allowing people to be ordinary, because not every single person needs to be some kind of traumatized or heavy lore to have their own feelings and personality.
