School Breaks

Can we just talk about how stupid the American school break system is?? We miss so much school during the first semester. You have labor day, fall break (which is a week where I'm at), we had election day AND the day before off, we got a week for Thanksgiving, and then we go back for 3 weeks before leaving for winter break. But then we have second semester where we get MLK, Presidents day, and spring break (one week). The second semester is so much more stressful due to the lack of breaks and 1st semester feels so incomplete with how much time we are out of school. I like being out of school, but the breaks need to be a bit more spread out, you know? IDK
