I had a feeling,
looking in your eyes

I had an inkling
that you felt justified
for what you had tried
Time flies
but it does not buy
the forgiveness that you seek

Perhaps it did not cross
your twisted mind,
as you wanted your lips on mine,
that I wanted you to ask
for you to take something that was mine
And I did not want those lips on mine,
and I lied in saying I did,
because your silence to my refusal
would have stretched for miles
You were gentle to me, always
though I knew rumours of your anger
and you did not like when I
did not want to hold your hand
in my hand
So I let you take something of mine,
and let you put your lips on mine,
and I said another lie
"Yes dear, I liked it"
and did not refuse the next time
Because I had an inkling
that you wouldn't be so kind
if I had told you no,
the next time

I also relate a lot to the content lol ToT I'm a huuuge people pleaser, my 2 past relationships were shitty but at least they taught me that i was being stupid and needed to change that~ my last relationship tho was the shittiest, it could have ended rlly rlly badly for me, I did so many things I didn't want to

i feel this poem deep in my heart as someone who is a people pleaser and has felt pressured to say yes
this was not your fault
please try to set boundaries next time i know its hard when dealing with an angry person but i like to carry pepper spray and not be alone with people im dating until i really know them well

️💗 I've been working on my people pleasing issues for some time now, and unfortunately it was a little too late at that point in time, but I'm no longer in contact with that person anymore so yay!
thank you for the advice, I've worked hard on setting boundaries lately and keeping people that give me bad vibes away! but i will keep that in mind always. I hope you're staying safe also!

ive loved it since it was first released on youtube but i was really really excited to see netflix pick it up because the fandom has expanded sooooo much!!

the one on youtube is my favourite! it feels more filled out whereas netflix feels like it lacks a little of what the youtube one had! but I still do love both!!
