Donovan was the one who helped figure out we needed to go underground last week

Melpert uses Genetic Regeneration to reattach Eiren's ruined leg

He is full of PTSDed

Vasoya is slightly maimed from the Pitch Black monster cuts and being downed earlier, she's busy taking care of Eiran

Eiran doesn't think we should go above the tree canopy, we don't know if we were the target they were shooting at earlier

Eiran isn't sure who did this attack, not even sure if it was his own people

Remy is able to use his datapad to figure out where to go along the path back

Donovan guides us back through/around the craters, Melpert giving us fly speeds to hover us all over them

the trees are all downed from where we walked past, flaming debris

I see forward ahead that the fallen transports were going in one direction

Donovan falls into one of the fire piles, distractedly looking at one of the flaming wrecks and walked right into it

Melpert saw him walk into it, dove over to help him and fell into his own fire pile

As Remy and I watched these weird fire dives, those mushroom monsters from yesterday come stampeding down the ruined pathways of the jungle

Melpert and Donovan's fire pile wrecks are right in their way, only Melpert is able to hover up out of the way

Donovan turns around just as the biggest mushroom monster is a couple feet away, I screamed out "Get Down!" and he dives down into the ground, between the flaming wreck and the stomping mushroom limbs

thankfully Donovan is able to get out of this pathway with minor-ish damage

Everyone seems to be interested in these ships that crashed, I'm more interested in literally anything else at the moment

I can't seem to get myself to focus on anything after looking at that much fire and devastation

it's making me kinda panic-y, is this a panic attack? idk

everyone is walking towards a downed plane, Vasoya urges us to investigate this one - it looks like people might still be alive in there

we reach the plane, there is a trapped red-furred Skittermander! we gotta help them!  they look to be pinned into their seat

Vasoya runs up to the cockpit, trying to see if it can be opened

I hold Remy's hand with one of my 4 forepaws and direct him "Hurry!" 

The ship zaps Vasoya a bit, the ship might blow up soon!

Donovan shoots one of the wings, disabling it by blowing it up

Remy is able to fly up to the Skittermander, their name tag says Runkle Jiji

he gets them out of their chair and Vasoya is able to hold them and carry them off out of the ship

we're able to get some data out of the ship's computers but as we start getting a bit more transfers

the electric arcs miss Remy and I, we were too short to be affected

but Donovan, being a regular-sized human, gets the full brunt of it

Melpert is able to heal up our new Skittermander friend, and Donovan who was almost dead from electricity is brought back to life

I grab Donovan with both sets of my forepaws and carry him off to Vasoya and Eiran's little encampment outside the crash site

It seems like the data at the end is really hard to get, and the ship's engine is ready to blow

Remy keeps getting electrified, trying to hit it

the plane explodes, all chances of us getting that data are gone :(

suddenly, these weird guys in blue with yellow sun icons on their arms show up

Remy shoots one of the guys real hard, Donovan following up trying to blow his brains up - almost downing the guy

I try to dress up in their outfit, using my Flamer Projector

This does not trick them, was hoping they'd at least do a double take but I guess they don't have Skittermanders in their Azlanti crew

One of their guys lines up their rifle and shoots me in the shoulder real bad

Melpert helps me with some first-aid

A giant wall of plasma springs up between Melpert, I and Remy, Donovan

Donovan uses brain magic and melts the ground in front of me and these bad guys, it looks all weird and I can hear him yelling 'Stay out of the Danger Zone!' from behind the plasma wall back there

These guys shoot at Melpert, he gets pretty hurt but he turns their air into not air? vacuum? idk these guys look like they are suffocating for some reason

due to the mind madness darkness magic from Donovan, the mess of gross grounds and vacuum area starts making noises like guys fighting, maybe those bad guys don't like each other

I was aiming up a shot at the only guy I can see and hear Donovan yelp, like he bapped his knee on a coffee table or something and suddenly he just appeared on the other side of the mind madness darkness goop on the other side of the crash wreck clearing

I think he teleported or maybe ran really really fast
