I actually hate the modernization of everything. Like I hate it so much, I hate it with a burning passion. I think it could be cool, in a 70's contemporary way, but obviously the general public wants everything to be fugly as fuck. Also, the CARS???? why are they HIDEOUS???? The cybertruck makes me want to gauge my eyeball out, why are we letting these people design cars.

i literally feel this from the bottom of my heart
what the hell happened to us as a species? everything is so... ugly now
when i look back at the architecture from back then or the way we all acted toward each other i feel so sad and i wish we had that back
sometimes i feel like the internet and modern culture has been the worst creation of humanity but websites like this make me feel so much better about it because i know at least a tiny corner of the internet feels the same way about modernity

I completely agree with you, everything is so lacking in character, and social media and all these "trends" are definitely a part of it. I mean, it could totally be cool in like a mid-century modern way, but it's just plain ugly now.
