Suspension on Instagram Blows

Look, I get it. They gotta trim down on bots, etc.

But to get suspended for spam when you have CHRONIC MARKETING-INDUCED ANXIETY is f****ing stupid. (I feel comfortable being angry here than on them big-wig socials where they can destroy your employability for life based on formality on their platforms.)

I get it, we aren't supposed to follow many people at once, but I like to look at other accounts in my industry and follow everyone who I think I want to connect with before I move on and forget they exist for the next week or so and try again. Can't they just make it impossible to follow more accounts after a point?

How are real accounts supposed to grow in this world?

Well I know, they want us glued to our phones, following 20 people at once every hour or so to increase their attention metrics. Oh- don't let me forget that I got suspended about a month after I posted my first ever ad and got phished by like 96 accounts that claim they're Meta and that I somehow broke some stupid rule accidentally. How can you even trust a suspension when so many liars claim that they're suspending you?

How did I find out about the suspension?

After following about a hundred other REAL BUSINESSES in my field, I decided it's time to make an account for my rants and blogging about being a small business owner while having crippling anxiety that keeps me from wanting to advertise (because in high-school girls bullied me for being too "try hard" and laughed at people who needed to use hashtags to get 100+ likes on their selfies).

This world is cruel and I don't know how to grow but I'm determined to do it.

My philosophy is that we are on earth to suffer and its our responsibility to learn to not only accept but LOVE our suffering after all. If my chronic anxiety doesn't get reinforced by punishing me every time I get over my fears, how else am I going to feel the full scope of misery exclusive to the human experience?

Rant over.
