You can see a lot of gals are copying the aesthetic western girls have such as this girl...
But... WHERE'S THE FLAVOR?!
LIKE WHERE THE BRIGHT COLORS, GAUDY JEWELRY?! I feel like the only consistent thing are the shoes, hair and makeup (even the make changed drastically...)
The makeup is now influenced by Kbeauty, but still keep the eyelashes.
I really wish more tweens/teens who love old school gyaru fashion would popularize Og gal back in japan...
welp, that's it for me!

Right?? T_T Unless I was told these models were from a gyaru magazine or something I would have no idea. They look like every other fashionable girl in Japan!!!
Totally! I feel like most of these girls are now more going about what's trendy than actually what's trendy for gyaru and adding gyaru makeup along the way! A lot of the fashion and sometimes makeup remind me of Korean idols from girl groups! Which pretty much defeats the whole purpose of gyaru (Not to say some gyaru didn't go over the tanning limit).
