Gladiator 2 review rant (obv spoilers)

alrrr just been out watching gladiator 2... it was something to say atleast. Okay right off the bat i want to talk abt how beautiful the music is, holy moly. Like the first film it is heavenly "i want this to play at my funeral" type music. The costumes and visuals was literally to die for omg it was beautiful.

Okayy now for the spoiler time. So the gore was actually insane in this like jesus christ thats a lot of blood. But in general i think the story is built very well, so sad we couldn't see more of Acacius bc he literally got killed off in the middle of the movie. And the thing is i thought we where gonna follow him through the story but no no no we're gonna follow Lucius instead.

Like bro, i bet you half of the money they got from this movie was just teenage girls thirsting over Pedro Pascal lets be so for real. But on serious note the movie was rlly good everything kinda made sense in the end.

Something i'd like to point out tho is how in the start of the movie was so alike to the first movie idk if its just a parall since Maximus is Lucius father and its a fun parall ha ha. NO. It is not a fun parallel bc IT ACTUALLY TAKES UP HALF THE MOVIE. The first half consistened of: talk talk talk, fight fight, tlak talk talk i swear i was abouta fall asleep. The other half of the movie was so awesome the visuals went crazy and it was very watchable

Not smth i would watch again (since its insanely long) but something i'd defiently reccomend :)

And uhm... why the FUCK is joseph quinn playing Emp Geta

And bc of Pedro Pascal playing Acacius i will now sleep well tonight (i dont sleep)look how silly they are :3
