Talking about concerts i've been to (AND I'M GOING TO MCR!!)

omg 2024 has been so amazing for concerts for me. I'm SOO grateful for my parents being able to let me go to these things (i DESPERATELY need a job but i GUESS if ur 14 u can't get a job in canada.. SIGH). 

I've been to 2 this year, Green Day and Pierce The Veil (They opened for blink-182) and they were just AHH!

Green Day has always been a HUGEE part of my life and for them being my first concert ever was such an amazing experience. Sadly, we got there a bit late so we missed the Linda Linda's and Rancid but we were in time for The Smashing Pumpkins. i was a WREAKK when Green Day was playing oh my god. I was bawling my eyes out the whole time. it was fucking amazing. Our seats (my dad and I) were sec 234 I think. omg it was perfect. 

Pierce The Veil was AMAZINGGG. Even though they were only an opening act it was fucking great. (My dad won the tickets so it wasn't like he was paying just to see ptv). We got there extra early this time. keep in mind both these shows are at the rogers center. We got to see the very first band play- Hot Milk and I hadn't heard of them before, but they were actually pretty good. Then Pierce The Veil played. And I think I might just be bad at concerts cause I was strugglingg not to cry the whole time. I remember  almost breaking down at emergency contact though. Alexisonfire was the last band to play before Blink and, honestly I've heard them on the radio once or twice but have never really LISTENED to them, they were really good. They kinda gave soad vibes, but less- like, silly(?) and I love them now. Blink-182 was pretty good. We didn't stay the full set as my dad started to feel sick, but I got to see the rock show and aliens exist (which are my favourite blink songs) so I was happy, and we only missed 3 songs.

I'm going with my friend whose also a fan and my mom n dad. This concert is acc everything to me, prolly the main reason i've kept living the past few years is just the IDEA of seeing them live, and now that I will be is crazy to me. I can't put into words how much I ADORE this band, which might sound a bit silly but it's soo true.

Ptv world tour is a MAYBE right now. As much as I would love to see them, I'm going to save my money. Wait till after Christmas and IF I have enough money and IF tickets are still on sale, my delusional ass will take that as a sign and get em.
