making this blog to show off my taxidermy collection since its something i've been very passionated about and love doing. so, i wanted to show the internet!ย ๐ฏ
!! cw: animal bones & fur !!
I'm prettyy sure this is a baby deer i found in the nothern side of the woods. I collected this in october bc its when most animal bones show upย
I'm gonna be so real, i don't remember finding this one so im gonna assume and say that it is one of the pieces i collected early on. I'm 70% sure that its also from a deer, since theres a lot of them in the woods. Neat little thing! :3ย ย

The one on the right is a deer tooth from the skull i showed. It fell out when i was cleaning it. The two others two on the left are shark teeth my friend gifted me when he went to america!
Idek if i can consider this taxidermy, but im showing it here anyway! A couple of feathers and butterflies from my garden, again very cute and neat little thing!! ^_^
This one is an antler from a Fallow Deer! My older sister gifted it to me when she moved into her college dorm. I love it SO MUCH! Definitely one of my fav pieces from my collection <3
I bought this one from a thrift store when i was on vacation this year. It was superr cheap for being a piece like this. My grandfather had these hung in his house, so it reminds me of himย โกย 
This one is a deer tail! It is superrr cute <33 I got it from a Ren Faire i visited to too long ago and is now my newest piece! Bonus point bc it is soooooo soft :3
Various of tails/furs! the small beige one is from a fox, as well is the white and the black silver ish one. the last one on the right is a silver foxes skinned head! I got all of these from a ren faire, as you do with most furs and tails lol xD

vro this is so freaking cool like what the heck!!! (0 o 0) I wish there were more forests near me where I could collect stuff like this... smh.
THANK YOUU <33 Finding taxidermy is a STRUGGLE when there's not much forest in your area. If you wanna find sum i could suggest roads near water, or train tracks :3 !

arghh that sucks :d !! Do you have coyotes in your area? they tend to eat bones and stuff that might be why :33

thiz iz so cool!! i hope i have this luck when i try 2 find bones/stuff like that. also those butterflys had gorgeous coloration :)
they do!! its so hard finding butterflies that isn't broken but i was super lucky :33

sooo cool!!!! also love ur blog layout!!, I love collecting things like this, how'd you preserve the moths?
I have a buck rack from when I went hunting last year and January - early March is a good time to go shed hunting (tromping around the woods looking for antler sheds !tip: look in ditches and creek beds!)
thanks a lot and i start with having them be flattened down by a book and then take them out after a day or two so they're flat, sometimes i frame them but i also just let them lay around or stick them to collage pages or note books i have :3

sometimes moths get stuck in spider webs and i take them there or when it summer and night time ish you can search flowers plants etc. :33
